Snow?!

What a great winter for K9 Poo Crew! The snow has held off for the most part, leaving service running as usual. Yes, hands and toes get cold, but we are still scooping! I have to admit, I prefer frozen to soggy....

Summer is coming to an end... what about fall and winter?

September is here, and the weather has started to cool off. I enjoyed the hot summer weather, and regular visits with all of my doggy friends!

Lately I've been asked about winter service. What will happen when the snow comes? As this will be my first winter scooping poop in Kamloops, I have yet to pass out K9 Poo Crew's 'bad weather/snow policy'. All regular customers will be getting a copy of this policy with their October month end invoices. Basically, it says that service will continue as usual, as long as there is no fresh snow covering everything up. If the snow prevents scooping on your regular service day, you will not be charged and service will continue as usual the following week. Weekly bucket service will continue regardless of the weather.

Sprinklers??

Well, today I had my first run in with automatic sprinklers... they weren't supposed to be on.... but nothing works perfectly every time! Good news though, I managed to stay pretty dry while weaving through the opposing streams of water, hunting for doggy piles. I'm sure if anyone was watching, they had a good laugh!

Spring is here!

Yesterday was the first day of spring, and I couldn't be happier! The weather has warmed up, and the poops have come out of hiding! It feels great not to have to battle that ever lasting ice! It's a perfect time to get your pet's mess cleaned up, as the kids are starting to head outside to play!

Is spring coming?

The sun is out and business is definitely beginning to pick up! (no pun intended) I just wish that all of this snow would melt once and for all! The warm days and cold nights are making the poops harder to get at... as they get frozen into the icy snow... I might need to purchase a chisel!
